(B.A/M.A., Eotvos University, Budapest, Hungary; MPhil., Cambridge University) A native of Hungary, Bence started his PhD at UC Berkeley in 1999. He is mainly interested in philosophy of mind and of biology. He is especially intrigued by the question whether evolutionary thinking could be helpful in understanding human mind and perception. Bence is the author of the book Elme es Evolucio (Budapest: Kave Press, 2000; published in Hungarian, unfortunately), which focuses on these topics. Before leaving Hungary he worked as a professional art/cinema/theatre/music critic.
