Tracking Truth developed a tracking theory of knowledge, a likelihood-ratio-based view of evidence integrated with it, and a novel approach to scientific realism. Having taken the position that justified belief is not necessary for knowledge, I have a debt to pay to say what justification is, and what it's good for. I am now working on a tracking-based account of justified belief that displays its distinctive survival value over and above that of knowledge, and also working on the consequences of our fallibility. Current manuscripts include "Justification and the Growth of Error," "Closure on Skepticism," and "Optimism about the Pessimistic Induction."
